The ‘S’ Word Project

Featuring Erin Thompson

Friday, May 15th | 6pm – 7:30pm Pacific Time

Sex is to be respected because it is very powerful and can change the trajectory of our lives. It’s also interesting that, although sex is how the overwhelming majority of us all got here, many of us are not comfortable talking about it and never really got a proper sex talk from our parents.

This workshop utilizes a series of video interviews produced by the workshop leader to reflect on our own experiences. These interviews were conducted with consenting adults sharing about their own sexual histories. The purpose was to expose the importance of being more open and secure enough to have the sex talk with the young people in our lives.  Once we each deal with our experiences, we can then become a safe space for others, especially for our children.
