Marnika Shelton is the owner of The House of Cherrelle, Co-founder of the International Institute for Sexual Empowerment and Pleasure & Intimacy coach specializing in advocacy and sexuality. They empower and inspire people across all cultural backgrounds; by breaking down taboo, to create a world where all people feel loved, honored and respected. Their work has been featured with The San Francisco AIDS Foundation, SOMArts Cultural Center, and in Math Magazine, Bitch Media, Slate, Cosmopolitan Magazine and Women’s Health Magazine.

Maggie Rast is committed to each and every human being living a life they love with passion, freedom, and full self-expression. Believing that sex connects us all at a fundamental level, that creating and practicing in our personal lives the qualities of authentic communication, respect, and being a contribution are the same conversations that could lead to world peace.

Betty Marcon, joined the IISE Board after spending several years supporting the efforts of the Global Sexual Health and Freedom Summit. Betty is also the producer of “The ‘It’ Podcast: Real Talk on Sex” – the podcast hosted by Nika Cherrelle. Through these opportunities, she discovered the value that this work brings to the world. She wanted to contribute her business and communication skills to the IISE Board to fulfill on that mission. Betty has had a long career in the food service industry – as a pastry cook, chef instructor, restaurant owner, and controller for restaurants. Today, she works alongside restaurant owners as a consultant and coach, making the industry more equitable and resilient and better for the folks who work in it.

Kathryn Seabron is a Creatrix, Activist, Sex-Educator, Producer, Director, Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Ecdysiast, & Mistress of Ceremonies. Kathryn is a graduate of San Francisco State University, earning her Bachelor’s in Theater Arts and is based in Oakland, California. Her theatrical career began as a Stage Manager for the historic Lorraine Hansberry Theater. Since then, she has Stage Managed for many major theater companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and has directed for the Asian American Theater, African American Theater Company, Oakland Ensemble Theater Company and Oakland Public Theater.

Aaron Moshiashwili is an attorney and tax specialist practicing in the DC metropolitan area. His law background, critical thinking and systematic approach is essential to the running and smooth operations of the IISE. His belief that people would be happier and live more fulfilled lives if free to create them without the shame, guilt and insecurities that society has imposed around our sexuality, meshed well with the aim of IISE. Aaron has been raising his three children with open and age-appropriate conversations about sex, boundaries, consent, and respect with them since infancy giving them the tools required to make intelligent choices in a confusing world.
