Have you ever wondered why discussions of sexuality and sensuality are often avoided within Christian spaces? Often, the only conversations about sexuality are directive and restrictive, not making space for the beauty in the gift of sex. What are the underlying reasons for this apprehension? In this session, we will examine how sexuality and sensuality have been kept separate from spirituality in the context of Westernized Christianity, explore what the bible actually says about sensuality, and learn three ways to incorporate spiritual practices into sexual experiences.
